'Now We're Gonna Speed Up Again'

This live set was recorded on Friday 14th January 2005, taken straight from the soundboard of the long defunct and legendary Glasgow venue Fury Murrys.

It was the first live outing of the MKII line-up of 14corners with new rhythm section of Stuart Donald on bass guitar and John Gordon on drums. Although some of the songs had been around for a few years up to this point, they were being redeveloped by the new line-up and this set captures a raw, scrappy and very energetic young Corners, proudly playing '9 songs in 25 minutes'. Shane's guitar amplifier went faulty during the soundcheck and his guitar was routed straight into the soundboard to enable the show to go ahead.
